Wire sawing is a method of cutting that is used to remove large areas of brick, mass poured and reinforced concrete. A diamond-impregnated wire is fed through multiple wire guide pulleys and placed around the area of concrete that needs to be removed this wire is then ‘pulled’ through the material until the desired cut has been complete. This method of cutting is utilized in limited access and complex situations where no other method of concrete cutting is suitable. Its application is ideal for cutting items such as bridge decks, beams and columns.
